I purchased this for son around 6 mos age. Great toy - non-toxic, great for teething but most importantly, a toy that stays put, especially when out and about. He still enjoys teething with this toy.

safest teether/rattle!

serves as a teether & rattle at the same time.safe w/ non-toxic paint so my son's free 2 chew on it.the string attaches it to his jumper and side of crib and becomes a pull toy.develops dexterity, great 4 grasping!teaches cause & effect-clacks when shaken!

This was an instant hit, as are all haba toys with my daughter. she loves the vibrant colors and just is very drawn to wooden toys. this one has a string which is always her favorite part and its really fun to bang.

Fun toy

My 7-month old enjoys playing with this Haba toy. We have hung it on the Dream Meadow Playmat bar, as well as just let him play with it on its own. It makes a fun sound and the colors are appealing. It is the perfect size for little hands.

Another great Haba toy

My son loves to chew on this toy. I love that it is safe for him to do so and the toy can be attached to something so I don't have to pick it up a zillion times! We have mostly attached it to my son's jumper (in which he spends lots of time) and when everything else inevitably falls on the floor, the caterpillar is still there. I recommend this toy.
